Fish In A Tree installed down at the San Diego Embarcadero
The sculptural work, Fish In A Tree was installed downtown recently as
part of the Port of San Diego's Urban Trees project. The site is near the
southwest corner of Broadway and Harbor Drive. Fish In A Tree is my first
public sculpture and has been quite exciting.
Fish In A Tree details:
- Minimalist welded tubular steel, powder coated.
- The fish itself is 7.5 X 5 feet, top fin is about 15 feet above the
ground. - The support pole is 6" diameter x 10 feet tall painted in an abstract
expressionist style. - Special low drag bearing design allows motion in light wind
conditions.
